Raleigh/Cary Ranks Third for Best U.S. Cities for College Students

In a recent study done by the American Institute for Economic Research, (AIER), Raleigh-Cary, NC was ranked third among all mid-size metro cities in the United States for “Best U.S. College Cities for College Students.”

The study compared each of city’s academic and economic environment, quality of life, and postgraduate employment opportunities in compiling its final listings. In addition, they looked at each area’s culture and student life, basing their statistical analysis in several different categories. Within the “Mid-Size Metro” city’s, only the San Jose, California and Austin, Texas areas placed above Raleigh/Cary in the rankings, which listed the 75 most ideal spots across the nation for college students to call home.
