The town of Cary, continues to receive awards and praise for its growth and development from many respected publications and websites, including its recent inclusion by Niche in their annual poll as number two on their list of the Best Suburbs in North Carolina.

A recent article published in the Cary Citizen detailed the town being named to this lofty spot among the Best Suburbs in North Carolina. Noting that the study by Niche looked at a wide array of factors in coming up with their final rankings of the Best Suburbs of North Carolina, the piece goes on to detail the many areas in which the town received high marks in the poll’s final grading process. Taking a close look across the state and more specifically each of the municipalities’ education opportunities, real estate, crime rate, cost of living, employment rates, and several other areas, it was noted the Cary was at the top of the list for their great education system and public schools, being awarded the highest grade possible, an A-plus in this crucial category that would have to weigh heavily in a families’ relocation decision process. Once again, leaning toward the overall “family friendly” atmosphere of the town as a basis for its high ranking on the list of Best Suburbs in North Carolina, Cary received extremely high scores for their fantastic family amenities and outdoor activities, which the Citizen article points out could be attested to the great job done locally by the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department that was recently the recipient of the prestigious “Gold Award,” which is the top award given nationally to parks departments. The great job of the local authorities and officials in keeping crime rates down and making the town one of the safest across NC also was cited as playing into Cary being given the second ranking on the Best Suburbs in North Carolina listing, as was its affordability and cost of living, and its great real estate options.
